Is Halvy free?+

Yes. Creating groups, adding expenses, splitting fairly and settling up are all free, and so is a trip: a trip is simply a group with dates on it, so the countdown and the end-of-trip wrap-up cost nothing. Halvy Pro is an optional subscription that adds receipts, recurring expenses, budgets, full reports, multi-currency, and trip plans and trip budgets.

Do both people need the app?+

Everyone you split with joins your group from a single invite link with their own free account, so you all see the same up-to-date balances. Prefer to fly solo? You can track your own expenses too.

How does splitting work?+

Add an expense, choose who paid and who shares it, then split equally, by exact amounts, by percentage, or by income. Halvy keeps a running tally of who owes who and shows the simplest way to settle up.

Does Halvy move money?+

No. Halvy keeps the books: it tracks balances and records when a debt is settled. You pay each other however you like (e-transfer, Venmo, cash), then mark it settled in the app.

How do I cancel Pro?+
